PACER Center

Pacer-center319PACER Center is a non-profit parent training and information center for families of children and youth with all disabilities from birth to young adults. Located in Minneapolis, it serves families across the nation.  Parents can find publications, workshops, and other resources to help make decisions about education, vocational training, employment, and other services for their children with disabilities. PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center provides resources designed to benefit all students, including those with disabilities.

You may want to begin with the following PACER resources:

  • Read the hot topics and blog articles, publications on topics such as school refusal, bullying, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, behavior issues, ADHD, and much more.
  • Gain a better understanding of the special education process and what to expect at an IEP meeting with PACER videos and downloadable resources.
  • The PACER publication catalog offers free downloads of many publications and a few audio files for personal, noncommercial use.
